Fitness opened in April 1986 by Brian Bowman along with his
wife Louise. At this time the fitness industry was in its
infancy which made for some hardships early on. December of
86’ was the turning point as business really took off
and the fitness industry was on the rise. Sales increased
steadily over the next 5 years and stamped Niagara Fitness
as a long term Niagara based business. 1993 saw some changes
as Niagara Fitness took on the name Fitness Depot. In 1996
it was evident that the small tiny store at 300 Welland avenue
just couldn’t handle the expanding growth. In the spring
of that same year Niagara Fitness moved to 35 Maywood avenue,
a larger 4000 sq. ft. facility with greater visibility and
accessible from the QEW. In 2001 in was time to break from
the franchise and once again become Niagara Fitness, a move
that would allow us to offer a greater selection and variety
of products to our customers. In 2006 it was time to move
once more to 25 Maywood avenue , an even larger store, newly
renovated by Brian himself. With a new professional, modern
look came a name change and logo to match, Niagara Fitness
Solutions. Since
the year 2000 exercise equipment has become a mainstream
industry. Offering quality exercise equipment at fair prices
while providing the best service and having the most expertise

and solidify themselves as Niagara’s Exercise Equipment
Experts!
